Evans EC1 Clear Tom Head Pack

The Evans EC1 drum head features an Edge Control ring that is mounted underneath the 14 mil single ply head. By controlling edge vibration, instead of eliminating it, the ring isolates and dampens higher overtones, enhances low-end and attack, and enables broader tuning and dynamic ranges. The Evans EC1 head provides improved balance between attack and sustain. Unlike conventionally damped heads, the EC1 will not choke at higher tuning ranges, or lose its full-bodied presence when tuned low. As an added bonus this single ply head will take an extended beating due to its 14 mil thickness which is thicker than most tradition single ply heads.

The Evans EC1 drum heads have great tone regardless of how you prefer to tune your drums. They have a powerful sound without excessive ringing. The EC1 heads are also very easy to tune.
